>>The Women’s Leadership Conference & Minority Student Leadership Summit
The University of Missouri sponsors two leadership conferences each year. These conferences are open to all MU students and provide an excellent opportunity for both emerging and experienced student leaders to strengthen their leadership skills, exchange ideas, and expand their campus leadership network.

Minority Student Leadership Summit – offers minority students at the University of Missouri the opportunity to learn more about themselves as individual’s, explore THEIR Mizzou Experience and develop tools to be successful in college and beyond!  Through workshops, presentations, and speakers, this Summit will teach students how to become the architects for their own college experience bridging the gap between where they are from & who they are, to where they want to go and the person who they want to be.  Students who attend this summit will explore their identity, learn more about effective leadership, and be challenged to develop a plan to make change and to take their leadership to the next level!  Come “Show Your Colors” and honor yourself, your culture & your experience at the first Minority Student Leadership Summit!  The conference is planned for Saturday, October 3, 2009 .  More information will be posted soon, please check back with us again.

Women’s Leadership Conference (WLC) is a supportive and educational conference to celebrate women’s accomplishments and provide developmental leadership skills that contribute to women’s success in leadership, academics, careers and personal life.  The WLC is held on years ending in even numbers during the Spring Semester to coincide with Women’s History Month.  The Conference is co-sponsored by several offices on campus and offers students the opportunity to learn more about leadership and provides opportunities to network with Faculty, Staff, Alumnae, and Community Leaders.  Check our website for conference date, time and location. This will take place on March 13, 2010.
