Dance Marathon
THE BIGGEST, SAFEST PARTY ON CAMPUS!!!
One night. One goal: Dance for Kids who Can’t. These ideas are the core of Dance Marathon at the University of Missouri. On November 15, 2008 students of MU and members of the community came together to dance for eight hours to support the Children’s Miracle Network at the Columbia Children’s Hospital. MU Dance Marathon 2008 raised over $12,000 and our goal is to exceed that amount during DM 2009.
Dance Marathon is a non-profit, student run organization funded by student fundraising and corporate sponsorship. We rely on these two sources to raise money for our charity. On behalf of MU DM, we invite you to join or continue your commitment to help the kids of the Children’s Miracle Network with their healthcare needs by applying to be a member of the DM 2009 Steering Committee. Student involvement and leadership is crucial in order to ensure that we continue to throw the Biggest, Safest Party on Campus for the Children of Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network.
Dance Marathon 2009 will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the MU Rec Center from 12:30PM-9PM.
